Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut's first choice in goalie training camps for over 25 years

Coach Joe Accetturo started attending the DLB Goalie Camps at age 12.  He only started playing hockey at age 10.  With hard work and the training he received from the camp he ended up being the starting goaltender for LaSalle Academy just 4 seasons later as a sophomore.  He represented team RI at the Hockey Night in Boston Summer Showcase along with the US National Under 18 goalie coach Joe Exter.  He went on to play juniors and then to Iona College.  When Joe moved back to RI he wanted to get back into hockey and called up DLB to ask if he could coach.  He has been a valuable member of our staff since.  Being on the smaller side he realized early that proper technique, positional play and the ability to read the play are the keys to making a successful goalie.  He works on these aspects at his station with the young goaltenders he coaches helping them gain the insight to help them develop in to great goaltenders.
